Daxter, based upon the Jak and Daxter series, reinforced that the PSP could cope with massive scale adventures with top graphics. We play the ottsel character running through green environments, splattering bugs, driving vehicles and splattering waves of enemies in a Matrix-inspired game. With brilliant voices, a believable story and enjoyable characters, it's a must have for all true PSP gamers.
7. Tekken: Dark Resurrection
Tekken: Dark Resurrection is the best portable fighting game I can remember. The game stars Paul Phoenix, King, Marshall Law and other characters in awe inspiring 3-D. You get one-on-one battles and you can even download ghost recordings of other players' characters . No true PSP fan should be without a genuine fighting game.
6. Final Fantasy: The War Of The Lions
You get a choice of a wide range of characters with different powers to create an army of warriors. You then head into battle across a grid-like battlefield. A must have for any real PSP fan.

Wipeout Pulse is one of the best racing games you can get on any portable. The sci-fi themed tracks, vehicles and sound effects will keep you zipping around loops, while destroying your competitors with rockets, missiles and plasma blasts. This is a fast racing game which enables you to drive on tracks from other tracks in the Burnout series. You win by crossing the line before others or crashing into your competitors for fantastic take downs.

Lumines is the killer game for the PSP. Similar to tetris, you will need to group tiny blocks of the same color and make them disappear. You get tonnes of skins to unlock. PSP gamers be warned, this is a hugely addictive game. However, no true PSP gamer should be without a copy.

You play a character called Victor Vance exploring a Miami-inspired city in full 3-D. You'll carjack vehicles, take down cops and even pilot a helicopter while becoming addicted to a unlawful world that is Grand Theft Auto. It’s comforting knowing gamers don’t mimic this in the real life, or do they! A must have game for any PSP owner.

The God of War series continues with this awesome 3-D game which stars the blood-thirsty Kratos. He battles against mythological beings, slaughtering soldiers using his Blades of Chaos. Bloody and addictive, this is one PSP you must absolutely have in your collection and my favourite.
