Copying Games – Find Out How You Can Copy Games Easily

by Vic Hurlstorm on June 29, 2009

I guess it has already happened to every gamer at least once, you want to play your favorite game and can’t , because it is scratched or broekn? How about when you look everywhere, and just can’t find it? You don’t have to live through this kind of frustration there is a solution in programs like CopyThatGame.

Whatever game console you use, whether its wii or ps3, or whatever, when you buy games, you should make a habit of copying games. Calm down! Its not illegal to make a copy of a game you have already bought. But you do want to make a copy for security reasons. CDs and DVDs are not undestroyable and fact is they can get scratched easily and will stop working.

When the game is already damaged is not the time to go looking for an answer. There are several help articles out there, which give advice on what to do with scratched disks. But truly, the best way to prevent this from happening is to buy some sort of game copying program like that of www.copythatgame.com. This way you won’t have to go looking for ways to repair a game.

The two most common ways of repairing damaged games are:

1. use alcohol: put some alcohol on the DVd and wipe it off with a cotton cloth. The problem is that the method works sometimes and sometimes it doesn’t. Especially if the game is badly scratched, then you are pretty much “up a creek without a paddle.” But if you had used the Copy That Game program, then you would have probably been using a copy anyway. If not, then you would still have a copy, you could use to play on.
2. The next suggestion is to use a banana: You rub the banana on the original disk, and this is supposed to fix the problem. The only thing is that, it doesn’t fix the scratch. It just hides the scratch, which means you still can’t play the game correctly.

Howeve,r nothing will work 100% to get your game rid of scrates, the only real solution is to have backup copies of your games. Back up copies come in really handy and they have several uses. First when you buy a program like Copy that Game, then you can put your original game up, and just use the copy. this will keep your original disk in perfect shape. in case your copy gets scratched as well, no problem, just make another copy.

Another great reason you want to make security copies, is to prevent loss. There is nothing as frustrating, as when you are in the mood to play a certain game, and you just can’t find it. When you have all the originals in one place and then keep a copy to play with you don’t have to worry about this happening. All you need to do is make another backup copy.

Hard to believe, but game copy software is not expensive at all and in addition worth every cent. You have to take into consideration that you will save the money by saving just one game. The best part is the program works for all games, no matter what your platform is. You can have an Xbox, Xbox 360, a PS1,PS2, PS3, or whatever. It will work for any game of any system.

A word of caution though! Don’t go looking for “Free” game copying software. It usually doesn’t work, and all you get is a lot of spam, or worse, a virus!
