Buy Garden Play Houses Not Video Games

If you had a dad like mine you had many garden play houses when you were a kid. My dad built them himself. He was a general contractor so there was no way he was going to pay for a ready made play house. He even made one that looked like a locomotive engine. I still have a photograph of me sitting at the window of my wooden train with a big smile on my face.

So if you are like my dad, great. If you do not have your general contractor…apos;s license however, not a skilled craftsman, then you want to look at purchasing a play house for your children. But listen, it sure beats buying the latest video game filled with death and destruction. If you do not think that games that reward for killing and destroying hurt kids, then I have some swamp land in Florida I want to talk to you about.

Parents figure this is what kids want these days. But kids want what they have wanted since the beginning of time. They want to use their imaginations. They want to play pretend. This is a way a child builds his creativity. This is part of all children. You might complain about the video games of death and destruction. But you need to offer something in exchange. Give your child an opportunity to use his or her imagination and you will not have to yank the video game from his hands.

A playhouse gives your children to have his or her home. She might have friends over for a tea party. He might have a book shelf and desk where he can read and write. Play houses come with safety glass and roofs that do not leak when it rains. They have doors in the front for kids and adult sized doors on the side for you to visit.

And talk about variety. Does your child want a Victorian style house or does she prefer a Cape Cod look. Or you can customize it to look like your real house.

Pride of ownership is what you have in your home right? Well, believe it or not a play house provides your child with pride of ownership. You are actually him or her build responsibility. He or she now has his own home to take care of.

I remember that when I had my own play house I was happy to invite my friends over and see it. We spent time in there just as if it was my own home. But what difference was that compared to what we as adults do in our own homes? A play house is simply done on a smaller scale.

Video games are all about killing and destroying. Let no one fool you. These games are not good for kids. Children want a place they can call their own. They want a place they can play make pretend. They want a place they can invite their friends to. Garden play houses gives your kids a place they can enjoy, be proud of, and learn responsibility.

Compared to video computer games garden play houses are a sound investment for your own youngsters. Much More info at our cheap garden sheds site.
